BL Harley MS 4640, f.1r; The miniature on folio 1 in the initial "T" is of the Virgin Mary kneeling in adoration with the ox and ass before the infant Christ in the manger. The manuscript of 2 sections, each preceded by full-page illumination: 1) 27 1/2 sides ; 2) 22 1/2 sides. c. 218 words per page. The miniature on folio 15r. is of St Bridget at her writing desk experiencing a vision of the risen Christ, showing his bleeding wound holding an orb in his r. hand. Final pages of each signed by Roger Lupton. Vellum, 13" * 8 1/2". Tripartite Indenture dated 10 March 1530 between: 1)Roger Lupton, Gyles Capell & Mary his wife (widow of Hugh Denys); all executors of Hugh Denys. 2) Agnes (Jordan), Abbess of Monastery of St Bridget of Syon 3) John Joborne, Prior of the House of Jesus of Bethlehem of Sheen ("Sheen Priory") The function of the document was to transfer the bequest of Hugh Denys (d.1511), Groom of the Stool to King Henry VII comprising the manors of Osterley & Wick, Middx., from Sheen Priory, the original beneficiary, to Syon Abbey. A transcript is printed in Aungier, G.J. The History and Antiquities of Syon Monastery, London, 1840, pp.465-478.
