DescriptionStockport Number 5, Heaton Park Tramway Museum (Geograph-4167219-by-David-Dixon).jpg
English: Stockport Number 5, Heaton Park Tramway Museum. Owned by the Stockport 5 Tramway Trust, number 5 is the sole survivor of Stockport Corporation’s tram fleet. It was delivered in 1901 and worked at Stockport until withdrawn in 1948. The tram was fully restored in 1996 and moved to Blackpool where it saw limited use before going to Doncaster in 2002 to help the town celebrate 100 years of public transport after which, it was returned to Blackpool. It was moved to the Heaton Park Tramway Museum in 2011. Following restoration over the winter of 2012, 5 was relaunched in March 2013, complete with period-style adverts.
