Summary

Description
English: Statfold Barn Railway - Sid. That's the name of the locomotive (as in Hissing Sid). This is a replica of a 19th century compressed air locomotive of 2' gauge as used in collieries in the north-east of England. Compressed air was safe underground as it did not pose an ignition risk.
