DescriptionSt Mary Magdalene's church in Silver Road, Norwich - font - geograph.org.uk - 1999168.jpg
English: St Mary Magdalene's church in Silver Road, Norwich - font. The church of St Mary Magdalen was constructed 1903 by diocesan architect AJ Lacey. It is situated only a short distance away from St James Pockthorpe which now houses a puppet theatre. When the church was closed its painted roodscreen panels as well as the baptismal font were moved up the road to St Mary's and added to the modern interior. The east window was made by the firm of King & Sons of Norwich. One of the nave north windows contains medieval English and 17th century Continental stained glass.
