Summary

Description
English: Usage of a computer in layers:
  1. human (user, sand)
  2. software running in user mode (green)
  3. software running in kernel mode (red)
  4. hardware (blue)
This ordering of the 4 layers can be misleading: the human level is at the top above the software level because he "uses" the programs that are currently being executed on the hardware, but in reality humans can only interact with hardware!
Deutsch: Nutzung eines Rechners in Ebenen:
  1. Mensch (Benutzer, sandfarben)
  2. Software in user mode (grün)
  3. Software in kernel mode (rot)
  4. Hardware (blau)
