Summary

Description
English: Sessions House, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
On New Walk, it was built between 1804 and 1810 and was originally used for the courts of the Quarter Sessions, later becoming a Crown Court. The façade is topped by a gilded figure of Justice without a blindfold. A prison was built at the back and a treadmill was added in 1823. Dick Turpin was tried at Beverley Quarter Sessions, but to get into the place today, he'd have to be a dandy highwayman, spending his cash on looking flash: the building now houses a private spa, website: http://www.sessionsspa.co.uk/home
