Summary

Description

Bar "Trinity" 111 Yesler Way and Merchant's Café / Sanderson Block, 109 Yesler Way in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, USA. Both built 1890.

The Merchant's Café has been in continuous operation ever since 1890, making it Seattle's oldest restaurant. In the 1920s and '30s, the upstairs functioned as a hotel, the Merchant's Hotel.

Trinity is a relatively new bar in a building variously known as the Padden Block or Mary McDonald Building, and which for much of its history held the Bohemian Café and later Eagle Café.

For more about the Merchant's Café, see Summary for 109 Yesler WAY / Parcel ID 524780055, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. For more about the Padden Block etc., see Summary for 111 Yesler WAY / Parcel ID 5247800545, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
