| Description |
English: Furuya Building, 220 Second Ave S. Originally (1900) the office and retail outlet of the M. Furuya Company, and the headquarters of the Japanese Commercial Bank, both founded and run by Masahiro Furuya. The building has gained and lost floors at various times. The upper two stories lost after the 1949 earthquake were only recently (2009–2010) recreated. See File:Seattle - Pioneer Square neighborhood 01.jpg for an image before the recent addition.
