This image is a faithful digitisation of a unique historic image, and the copyright for it is most likely held by the person who created the image or the agency employing the person. It is believed that the use of this image may qualify as non-free use under the Copyright law of the United States. • 2.Respect for commercial opportunities. As the station was operated by the Soviet space program, there are no likely opportunities for commercial gain by use of this image.
• 3.Minimal use. Image is low-resolution and relatively low-quality by current standards, and as such is unlikely to be of any use for piracy or other purposes.
• 4.Previous publication. Image was donated by RKK Energia to the curren source
• 5.Content. Image is encyclopaedic, showing a rare view of the space station, and as such meets Wikipedia's content requirements for non-free images.
• 6.Media-specific policy. The image meets Wikipedia's media-specific policy.
• 7.One-article minimum. The image is used in at least one article, Salyut 4, and may well be used in further articles such as Salyut program, among others .
• 8.Significance. The image contributes significantly to the article, as it is only photo present.
