DescriptionSAGE III at Space Station Processing Facility (23390877722).jpg
In the Space Station Processing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the agency's Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment III, or SAGE III, instrument is being uncreated from its shipping container. Engineers and technicians will prepare the device for its launch to the International Space Station next year aboard a Dragon spacecraft launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Once at the station, the agency's SAGE III instrument will take long-term measurements of ozone, aerosols and other trace gasses to help scientists better understand how to monitor and protect the Earth’s atmosphere.
The NASA website hosts a large number of images from the Soviet/Russian space agency, and other non-American space agencies. These are not necessarily in the public domain.
The SOHO (ESA & NASA) joint project implies that all materials created by its probe are copyrighted and require permission for commercial non-educational use. [2]
