Español: Romy Schmidt Crnosija es abogada de la Universidad Central de Chile. Además tiene un magíster sobre discapacidad de la Universidad de Salamanca. Durante seis años fue asesora de la Subsecretaria de Previsión Social. Posteriormente se desempeñó como fiscal del Fondo Nacional de la Discapacidad (Fonadis).
Entre el 2006 hasta el 2010, fue secretaria de Estado del Ministerio de Bienes Nacionales. A comienzos del 2010, fue la primera directora ejecutiva del Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos. Además ha desarrollado su labor como docente en distintas universidades. |
