Summary

Description
English: When restoring the Rodney Presbyterian Church (pictured), the cannonball embedded in the church's facade from union shelling (circled) was preserved and eventually replaced with a new replica cannonball, rather than repairing the damage. During the Civil War, 17 Union soldiers were captured while attending service in the church.
