Robene and Makyn, a woodblock illustration by the Scottish artist Charles Hodge Mackie, published in The Evergreen: A Northern Seasonal, The Book of Spring, Patrick Geddes and Colleagues (1895). The image illustrates the influence of Scotland's poetic tradition on the writers and artists associated with The Evergreen and, more generally, the interplay between Scottish literature and the visual arts.
