In addition to the Medal of Honor as worn around his neck, his other awards include (top to bottom, left to right): New York State Conspicuous Service Cross, French Military Medal, Romanian Order of the Star with swords and the ribbon of the Military Virtue Medal (to denote bravery in action), World War I Victory Medal (with five battle clasps), Italian Cross of War, Mexican Border Service Medal, Montenegrin Medal for Military Bravery, French Croix de guerre with bronze palm and stars, Portuguese Military Order of Avis, New York State World War Service Medal, Serbian Order of the White Eagle with swords, New York State Mexican Border Service Medal.
