Description
English: Mercator projection of a rectified radar image of Tycho Crater on the Moon.

Horizontal axis is east longitude and vertical axis is latitude. Pixel intensity is radar backscatter (in dB). The image spans 142.5 km x 142.5 km. Each pixel spans 150 m x 150 m. Transmitter: Goldstone Solar System Radar, DSS-14. Receiver: DSS-13.

Wavelength: 3.5 cm. Polarization: circular, opposite sense to that transmitted.
