DescriptionProposed Staten Island Rapid Transit Route.png
English: This is a map of the planned route of the Staten Island Rapid Transit Railroad-a plan spearheaded by Erastus Wiman. The line would run from the Arthur Kill, across the North Shore of Staten Island, through St. George, before branching off. One branch would be the old Staten Island Railway line to Tottenville, while the other would go to South Beach on the East Shore of the Island. This map came out of a document involving the mortgage of the railroad.
