Steve Carrell portrays Michael Scott playing one of his funny characters, Prison Mike, attempting to pull off a smug expression. This particular frame is not only the most memed part of the episode, but one of the most memed of the entire series.

Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The purpose of this image is for identification purposes. This is the only instance of Michael Scott playing Prison Mike, making his character a unique aspect of the episode. Thus, readers who are not aware of The Office by episode name but by casual discussion of the show's most memorable moments will easily recognize the article as on that episode. It additionally serves it purpose of showcasing the reason its superior notability over most other episodes, the Prison Mike character, which as the description stated, is one of the series' most utilized visuals in memes.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	The show and only the show can illustrate itself. Using a free media alternative would not do that.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	This will only be used on the article of The Convict, which this image is a screenshot of.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The file is low resolution, and if someone was looking to watch the Office, it is probable they are not going to stare at an image to enjoy it, thus making a single still shot useless for deincentivizing customers to pay NBC to watch the episode.
