Beskrivelse: Norsk Lytterforening ble stiftet i 1955 og var også en av riksmålsbevegelsens organisasjoner. Denne forholdt seg særlig til språket i NRK og pressen.
Norsk Lytterforening var ikke en reelt selvstendig organisasjon og materialet herfra er derfor inkludert i arkivet til Riksmålsforbundet.
Riksmålsforbundet motarbeidet myndighetenes samnorskpolitikk og obligatorisk opplæring i nynorsk, og ville bevare og dyrke riksmål som det tradisjonelle standardskriftspråket i Norge. Foreldreaksjonen mot samnorsk ble organisert av Riksmålsforbundet i 1951. Den samlet inn nesten en halv million underskrifter mot samnorsk.
Riksmålsforbundets arkiv ble gitt som gave til Riksarkivet i 2007.

English: Riksmålsforbundet samnorsk opposed government policy and mandatory training in Norwegian, and would preserve and cultivate riksmål that the traditional standard written language in Norway. Parents campaign against samnorsk was organized by Riksmålsforbundet in 1951. The collected nearly half a million signatures against samnorsk.
Riksmålsforbundet archive was donated to the National Archives in 2007.
