Porter Chemcraft Senior Set No. 6105, Hagerstown, Maryland, United States, 1957

Red steel case that opens in the front to reveal four compartments; on the front is a design with red, black and white images of various chemical apparatus; the front has an aluminum clasp closure; the first compartment (left) has a cardboard insert with places to hold a manual; the second section has a blue plastic insert with spaces for (right to left top to bottom) a plastic measuring cup, a box of red litmus paper, a wax candle, a test tube brush, a pair of test tube tongs, an alcohol lamp, a box of blue litmus paper, and glass chemical bottles; the third compartment has a blue plastic insert with spaces for (right to left top to bottom) glass chemical bottles and a small balance; the fourth compartment (right) has spaces for (right to left top to bottom) a box of flame test wires, a box of weights, an aluminum spoon, a booklet, and a steel test tube rack with four empty test tubes and three glass stirrers; chemicals include calcium hypochlorite, ferric ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, azurite, sulfur, tannic acid, sodium ferrocyanide, manganese sulfate, strontium chloride, sodium bisulfate, logwood, calcium oxide, sodium thiosulfate, cobalt chloride, trisodium phosphate, sodium borate, sodium carbonate, aluminum sulfate.
