Thiase / cortège dionysiaque (pour les grecs) / bachique (pour les romains) ou Bacchanale Art romain
Les poses des danseurs du cortège bachique, têtes en arrière et mains levées, encadrant la ménade jouant de l'aulos, ont inspiré la grande danseuse Isadora Duncan, immortalisée par le sculpteur Antoine Bourdelle sur un bas-relief de la façade du théâtre des Champs-Elysées à Paris (photo dalbera). Elle raconte dans ses mémoires être souvent allée au Louvre regarder les vases et objets de la collection Campana sur lesquels des fêtes dionysiaques étaient représentées.
