English: Peggers Formerly the Fox and Grapes, this pub hast been closed for at least a couple of years. It was essentially a market traders' pub serving the wholesale fruit and veg market, part of which can be seen behind. The market was moved to a more transport-friendly site some years ago, but despite trying to modernise, the pub has failed to retain its trade. |
