Description
English: The Giant 'Ostrich' (Pachystruthio dmanisensis) is a giant ratite known from the Early Pleistocene of Eastern Europe (Georgia & Crimea). In a paper by Zelenkov et al. published in 2019, their weight was estimated at 453-462 kg (= 999-1018 lbs), and height around 3.5 m (= 11').
