View is from the northeast: Leavenworth runs east-west in the foreground, while Park runs north-south at left. The building is part of the Park Avenue Apartment District, listed in the National Register of Historic Places. At left, partly obscured by the Barnard Flats building, is a duplex at 806 Park Avenue; this building is also part of the historic district.
