Summary

Description
English: Newhaven Marine railway station, East Sussex, 1992
Opened in 1886 by the London Brighton & South Coast Railway as probably one of the shortest 'branch line's in the country, it was little more than the length of a 12 car train. This image was taken from the next station along - Newhaven Harbour. Marine station effectively closed in 2006 but was quite 'grassy' even when this image was taken. The platform buildings were demolished in 2017.
