English: Monument to John Campbell, 2nd Duke of Argyll, (1680-1743), South Transept, Westminster Abbey by Louis-Francois Roubiliac, erected 1749. Marble monument shows the Duke, in Roman armour, lying on a sarcophagus attended by figures representing History, Eloquence and Minerva. The Duke is buried elsewhere in the Abbey, in the Henry VII's chapel
