Image of the monument, circa 1897, dedicated to Independent Battery 'B', Pennsylvania Volunteers (also known as "Muehler's Battery," or Pennsylvania 26th Artillery), which fought a fierce engagement from a position between the Brotherton & Kelly farms, during the Battle of Chickamauga (Ga.), Sep 1862; from the public domain book, Pennsylvania at Chickamauga and Chattanooga: Ceremonies at the dedication of the monuments erected by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania to mark the positions of the Pennsylvania commands engaged in the battles (PA State Printer, 1900).
