18th century: The tuerks took over from the venitians. Decay after that. Revival since 1990. Too narrow for motorized vehicles - absolutely fantastic!

Ehemals venetianisch, dann türkisch. Unter der Türkenherrschaft, ab 1715, versank die Stadt in die Bedeutungslosigkeit. Heute ein Glückfall, da die reizvolle mittelalterliche Unwegsamkeit der Gassen absolut keine Fahrzeuge zulässt!
