English: Merida, Yucatán. Rooftop view. Notice the typical "tinacos" or water-tanks on the roof. City water pressure varies and can be low sometimes. Many people get pumped well water as well. These rooftop "tinacos" are not called cisterns, since that term is reserved for ground-level water tanks. Some people have both.
