English: Mengfang Library, built in 1923. 中文（中国大陆）：孟芳图书馆。１９２１年，东南大学成立时向社会募捐图书馆经费，经校长郭秉文奔走，终获江苏督军齐燮元捐助，独资建馆并置配套设备。１９２２年立基，１９２３年落成，耗资１６万银元。建成后，以齐父之名命名为孟芳图书馆。张謇题匾。其两翼及书库，系１９３３年扩建，总面积３８１３平方米。图书馆建筑造型为西方古典建筑风格，比例匀称，构图稳实，风格隽雅，入口爱奥尼柱廊及墙面装饰细部极为精美，是国内近代建筑的优秀作品。 |
