English: Award of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation. Medal "For Merit in Upholding the Memory of Fallen Defenders of the Fatherland". Instituted on 4 December 2007 by ministerial order 55. Awarded to soldiers and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces for great personal contribution to perpetuating the memory of the fallen Defenders of the Fatherland, their names and the fate of missing servicemen, demonstrating high moral and business qualities, diligence and initiative as well as to other citizens of the Russian Federation or foreign nationals who assist in perpetuating the memory of the fallen Defenders of the Fatherland.
Français : Décoration du Ministère de la Défense de la Fédération Russe. Médaille "Pour Mérite à perpétuer la mémoire des défenseurs morts de la Patrie". Créée le 4 Décembre 2007 par l’arrêté ministériel 55. Attribuée aux soldats et aux membres du personnel civil des forces armées pour grande contribution personnelle à perpétuer la mémoire des défenseurs de la patrie tombés aux combats, leurs noms et le sort des militaires portés disparus, pour diligence et des qualités d'affaires et pour initiative; ainsi qu’à d'autres citoyens de la Fédération Russe ou des citoyens étrangers qui aident à perpétuer la mémoire des défenseurs de la patrie tombés aux combats.
Русский: Медаль Министерства обороны РФ "За заслуги в увековечении памяти погибших защитников Отечества". Учреждена приказом Министра обороны РФ № 55 от 4.12.2007 г. Медалью награждаются военнослужащие и лица гражданского персонала Вооруженных Сил за большой личный вклад в увековечение памяти погибших защитников Отечества, установление имен погибших и судеб, пропавших без вести военнослужащих, проявившие при этом высокие моральные и деловые качества, усердие и разумную инициативу, а также другие граждане Российской Федерации и иностранные граждане, оказывающие содействие в решении задач по увековечению памяти погибших защитников Отечества.
