English: Mail train, Portadown CIE used to operate an early train at 06.30 from Dublin Connolly to Portadown. It had been a passenger train conveying parcels and mails but The Troubles (with the decline in cross-Border passengers) led to its replacement by one for parcels and mails only. In this case it was hauled by a CIE B201-class locomotive and had a load of one CIE van and one NIR van.
