| Notes | The verso (visible through the old backing with a strong light), as noticed by Michiaki Koshikawa, is based (traced) from a drawing in the Victoria and Albert Museum attributed, not wholly convincingly, to Baccio Bandinelli. The verso is likely to be by Heemskerck as well, and Bandinelli's studio was in the Belvedere at the time. [1] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
