English: Lower Aghada Pier, near to Farsid, Aghada, Rostellan and an Geata Ban, Cork, Ireland. The pier was built in the years following the great famine of the 1840s. From 1850 steamboats operated in Cork Harbour between Aghada, Queenstown (Cobh), Passage West and Cork. The trade disappeared in the 1930s as road transport improved.
