Leistarcha amphigramma (Meyrick, 1915), to Heath trap, Aranda, ACT, 17/18 December 2015
Most Leistarcha recorded at this location have been L. scitissimella (Walker, 1864) - the white central line on the thorax of this individual is a quick way to see the difference.
Leistarcha tenuistria (Turner, 1935) is apparently very similar to this species, but ANIC specimens from ACT with this appearance have been identified as L. amphigramma. BOLD shows significant confusion between these species in the specimens making up its BINs. For the time being, I am using the name L. amphigramma.
