Description
English: Sergeant Dick Richards, VC, shows the model cutter to some of the crew of HMS Euryalus as he explains the landing at "W" beach. Some members of the old Lancashire Fusiliers and the Home Guard also participate in the discussion.

He had earned his Victoria Cross (VC) on landing at "W" beach, Gallipoli, from a cutter belonging to the previous HMS Euryalus.

The ceremony was for the Lancashire Fusiliers to present the ships bell and a silver model cutter to HMS Euryalus. The previous HMS Euryalus had transported the Lancashire Fusiliers to Gallipoli during the first world war.
