Description
English: View of historic 1877 Main Street Bridge and 1836 arch dam in downtown Kent, Ohio. Both form part of the Kent Industrial District, a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The dam was bypassed in 2004 through a widening of the former Pennsylvania and Ohio canal lock on the far right and Heritage Park was built in much of the area behind the dam. Today, water is artificially pumped over the dam during warm-weather months.
