The unknown man was previously misidentified as Edward Joseph Flynn (1891-1953), his daughter wrote in and said he had been misidentified. She wrote: "put NOT...before the PHOTO of Edward Flynn. AM his daughter...search for photos of EDWARD J FLYNN and you should come up with a true photo. The man in that photo is NOT Edward J Flynn. also- list his photo caption as Edward J. Flynn, NOT Edward Flynn)".
