Français : Miniature représentant Isabella Poyntz (1803-1879), épouse du 2nd Marquis d'Exeter, peinte par Sir William John Newton (1785-1869), signé et daté de 1830. Elle était la fille de William Stephen Poyntz de Cowdray (dans le Sussex). Elle a épousé Brownlow, 2nd Marquis d'Exeter en 1824. L'artiste a été nommé peintre miniaturiste de la Reine Victoria lors de son accession au trône en 1837.
English: Miniature of Isabella Poyntz (1803-1879), wife of the 2nd Marquess, by Sir William John Newton (1785-1869), signed and dated 1830. She was daughter and heiress of William Stephen Poyntz of Cowdray, Sussex. She married Brownlow, 2nd Marquess of Exeter in 1824. The artist was appointed Miniature Painter to Queen Victoria on her accession in 1837 (Burghley House collection).
