File:Interlaced-Triangles quasi-Arabesque Brunnian-link.svg

Original file(SVG file, nominally 615 × 600 pixels, file size: 21 KB)

Summary

Description

Three interlaced triangles with curvy sides, forming a quasi-Arabesque pattern which is also a Brunnian link of knot theory (with 18 crossings). For an alternate (less "pointy") version of the same basic design, see File:Interlaced-Triangles Brunnian-link alternate.svg . For a similar visual treatment of a simpler Brunnian link (with only 12 crossings) see File:Brunnian-link-12crossings-nonBorromean-quasi-Arabesque.svg .

Topologically equivalent to Image:Three-triang-18crossings-Brunnian.png ; is also a revised version of the "star of the muses" symbol...
