English: I Gesuiti, Venice - The second chapel: Chapel of St. Barbara. On the altar the statue of St. Barbara by Giovanni Maria Morlaiter. The chapel was that of schola dei sartori (The stonecutters) who already had a chapel in the old church of Crosechieri. The scissors, symbols of the school, are repeated on the balustrade and the return of the lintels. Français : Église Santa Maria Assunta (Venise) - La seconde chapelle : chapelle de sainte Barbara. Sur l’autel la statue de sainte Barbara par Giovanni Maria Morlaiter . La chapelle était celle de la schola dei sartori (Les tailleurs de pierre) qui avaient déjà une chapelle dans l'ancienne église de Crosechieri. Les ciseaux, symboles de l’école, sont répétées sur la balustrade et le retour des linteaux. Italiano: Église Santa Maria Assunta (Venise - all'altare: statua di Santa Barbara di Giovanni Maria Morlaiter. La schola dei sartori ebbe qui assegnata la nuova cappella in sostituzione di quella demolita nella vecchia chiesa dei Crosechieri. Le forbici, insegna della schola, sono ripetute nella balaustra e ritornano sugli stipiti della sede affacciata sul campo. |
