Description
English: Published August 31st, 1907 by Benjamin Saldaña Rocca, who founded the 'LA FELPA' newspaper. The illustrations are based on first hand accounts from employees of the Peruvian Amazon Company. Saldaña used this newspaper as well as 'LA SANCION' to publicly expose the company founded by Julio César Arana: which was perpetrating a genocide against the indigenous populations they enslaved.
