Don Panam zalach pahije Alleluia (2) Amkam naka bhaji puri, Aleluia Amkam zai xitkoddi, Alleluia दोन पाना झालाच पाहिजे आलेलूईया दोन पाना झालाच पाहिजे आलेलूईया आमकां नाका भाजी पुरी आलेलूईया आमकां जाई शीतकोडी आलेलूईया The Goa Opinion Poll/ referendum held on 16 January 1967, to decide the future of the Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu within the Indian Union. The referendum offered the people of Goa a choice between continuing as a union territory or merging with the state of Maharashtra. The people of Goa voted against the merger and Goa continued to be a union territory. Dr. Jack de Sequeira, the then opposition leader played an important role and hence he is regarded as Father of the Opinion Poll In 1987, Goa became a full-fledged State of India.December 19, 1961, Goa liberated from Portugal who ruled Goa for about 450 years |
