English: Funeral hatchment for George Godolphin Osborne, 8th Duke of Leeds, who married in 1824, Harriette Emma Arundel Stewart. He died on 8 August 1872.

He owned a substantial country house called Baylis House which was in the Parish of Stoke Poges but is now in Slough. He was the Patron of Stoke Poges Church but not Lord of the Manor of Stoke Poges.

All black background Qly, 1st and 4th, Qly ermine and azure a cross or (Osborne), 2nd and 3rd, Azure three cinquefoils between nine cross crosslets argent (Darcy), impaling, blank, filled with diapering All on a doubleheaded eagle sable langued gules, with an imperial crown above Duke’s coronet Crests: 1.
