Description

Afghan Minister of the Interior H.E. Minister Atmar address more than 400 coalition Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Department of Defense civilian employees and contractors, and partner nation representatives attending the change of command and the official activation of the NATO Training Mission - Afghanistan at Camp Eggers in Kabul, Nov. 21, 2009. During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV, assumed command from Maj. Gen. Richard P. Formica, prior to the activation of the new NTM-A that creates a unified command in charge of building capability and capacity within the Afghan Ministries of Defense and Interior.
