Español: Bandera del municipio de Saravena (Arauca).

"La bandera del Municipio de Saravena fue ideada por el doctor ALFONSO RAMÍREZ PARADA (q.e.p.d), ex director del primer proyecto de colonización del Sarare y ex alcalde municipal. Esta formada por tres franjas horizontales de colores verde, amarillo y rojo. El verde es el doble de los otros dos y significa la riqueza de la flora, la agricultura y la esperanza de un pueblo trabajador. El amarillo significa la riqueza del Municipio y el rojo significa el esfuerzo y la sangre vertida por muchos campesinos en la colonización del Municipio. La bandera lleva en el centro un hacha empuñada por una mano y simboliza la conquista del Sarare en la que el hacha fue la herramienta principal."
