English: A mockup of a traditional rope fiador as described and illustrated in the Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding by Bruce Grant (1972/2004) pp. 144-149. The knots used, from top to bottom, are: becket hitch (cf. ABOK #1492), fiador knot (#1110), and bottle sling (#1142).
