Description
English: T and O map of the world, centered on Jerusalem, made somewhere in Silesia (possibly in Głogów in Poland), around 1485. From the preview of the exhibition Temple of Sciences and Muses, introducing the history of the Research Library in Olomouc and some of the most notable prints manuscripts and maps from its collections. The exhibition took place in the Regional Museum in Olomouc and the Museum of Arts in Olomouc. This picture was taken in the Regional Museum.
Čeština: Kruhová mapa světa, v jejímž středu se nachází Jeruzalém, sestavená někde ve Slezku (snad v polském Hlohově) kolem roku 1485. Z vernisáže výstavy Chrám věd a múz, představující historii Vědecké knihovny v Olomouci a některé nejvýznamnější tisky, rukopisy a mapy ze jejích sbírek. Výstava se konala ve Vlastivědném muzeu v Olomouci a Muzeu umění Olomouc. Tato fotografie byla pořízena v Muzeu umění.
