Français : Cruchon réticulé ; Iran, Kachan, 1215-1216, céramique siliceuse , décor peint en noir sous glaçure transparente bleu turquoise, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. On ne connait qu'une vingtaine de pièces authentiques de cette série. Ici, une habile composition d'animaux fabuleux (sphinges et harpies) et de biches, bordée de quatrains calligraphiés, très à la mode chez les Seljoukides (Source : La céramique islamique de Jean Soustiel, page 103).
