“Precisamos descentralizar a indústria cultural do país”, explica Djonga durante conversas sobre o futuro dos artistas no Brasil.

“O Dono do Lugar” traz conversas relevantes sobre a juventude e masculinidade preta, a indústria cultural e musical do país e a repercussão dessa estrutura na carreira dos artistas. “Enquanto os caras forem os donos das grandes empresas de música, das grandes plataformas e de tudo, nós não somos nada. Nós somos os caras que ganham dinheiro aqui e se amanhã os caras quiserem eles vão descartar a gente. Essa é a mensagem que eu estou trazendo (no álbum). Precisamos descentralizar a questão da grana para a cultura do nosso país. Tirar desse lugar de repetição tanto no poder público quanto da indústria de um modo geral”, explicou Djonga durante o lançamento do disco na sede do Mídia NINJA em São Paulo.
