Original file(1,842 × 2,000 pixels, file size: 377 KB, MIME type: image/png)

Description

Ball-and-stick model of the D2d non-bridged isomer of dicobalt octacarbonyl, Co2(CO)8.

This image is not based on a full experimental structure determination, but an isomer with D2d symmetry was detected by IR spectroscopy in a hexane matrix at 84 K. See Inorg. Chem. (1977) 16, 415–421.
